What is CloudReef?

One AI-powered system runs both operations and guest experience across 12 integrated modules: PMS, restaurant and hotel POS, CRM, direct booking engine, channel manager, AI chatbot, AI butler, manager mobile app, reports, role-based access control, website builder, and activities booking. Each deployment is tailored to the property, including BIR compliance and local payment integrations.
Is CloudReef a channel manager?
Yes, or it integrates with yours. CloudReef can be your channel manager, connected to Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia and 50+ OTAs. If you already use SiteMinder, STAAH or Cloudbeds, CloudReef plugs into it instead. Either way you keep your OTA connections and gain a modern PMS, POS, CRM, and AI layer on top.
Can CloudReef handle multi-property or hospitality groups?
Yes. CloudReef supports multi-property deployments with consolidated reporting, central guest profiles, and per-property role-based access. Groups can manage 2 to 20+ properties from a single CloudReef account while preserving each property's independent operations.
Can CloudReef build my hotel website?
Yes. The Website module builds a fast, mobile-first hotel website with the direct booking engine integrated. Properties keep 100% of direct booking revenue with no commission. The website is SEO-optimized for the property name and Philippine destination keywords.
What reports does CloudReef provide?
CloudReef includes standard hospitality KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, GOPPAR), F&B reports (per-outlet revenue, top items, server performance), guest analytics (repeat rate, source mix, NPS), and financial reports (daily revenue, BIR sales summary, tax breakdown). Custom reports can be added during deployment.
Philippines specifics
Is CloudReef BIR-compliant for the Philippines?
Yes. CloudReef issues BIR-compliant invoices and official receipts. The POS module supports VAT-exclusive and VAT-inclusive pricing, senior citizen and PWD discounts, and BIR-accredited e-invoicing where applicable. Configuration is done during on-site deployment so the property is compliant from day one.
Does CloudReef support GCash, Maya, and Grab Pay?
Yes. CloudReef integrates with GCash, Maya (PayMaya), and Grab Pay for both restaurant POS and direct online bookings. Card payments via Visa, Mastercard, and JCB are also supported. All transactions reconcile automatically to the daily revenue report.
Does CloudReef integrate with Booking.com, Agoda, and Expedia?
Yes, through the channel manager integration. CloudReef connects to Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Airbnb, Traveloka, Klook, and most regional OTAs via SiteMinder, STAAH, or Cloudbeds. Inventory and rates sync in near real-time.
Does CloudReef offer local Philippine support?
Yes. CloudReef provides support during Philippine business hours (PHT) with on-site visits available for installation, training, and major issues. Support is delivered in English and Tagalog. Critical issues are escalated 24/7.

Switching & deployment
How long does CloudReef deployment take?
Typical deployment for a boutique resort of 20 to 80 rooms takes 14 to 30 days, including data migration, hardware setup, staff training, and go-live. Larger properties or multi-outlet groups may take 45 to 60 days. The CloudReef team handles installation on-site, not remotely.
Can I switch from Opera, eZee, or Cloudbeds to CloudReef?
Yes. CloudReef has a migration playbook for Opera, eZee Absolute, Cloudbeds, Little Hotelier, HotelKey, and most legacy PMS systems. Guest profiles, reservation history, room inventory, and rate plans are imported with zero downtime. Existing OTA connections are preserved through the channel manager.
What hardware does CloudReef require?
CloudReef runs on standard hardware: any modern Windows or macOS computer for the PMS, Android or iOS tablets for the POS and waiter terminals, thermal receipt printers, kitchen display screens, and key card encoders if the property uses RFID locks. CloudReef supplies recommended hardware at cost or works with existing equipment.
Is staff training included?
Yes. On-site staff training is included with every CloudReef deployment. Training covers front desk, F&B service, housekeeping, management dashboards, and reporting. Video documentation and refresher sessions are available afterwards at no extra cost.
Can I try CloudReef before committing?
Yes. Prospective clients can request a live demo with sample data, a sandbox account for hands-on testing, and reference calls with Blue Orchid Resort or Wild Orchid Resort. There is no commitment until the contract is signed and on-site deployment is scheduled.
Pricing
How much does CloudReef cost in the Philippines?
CloudReef pricing is transparent and published. Plans start around PHP 15,000 per month for boutique properties and scale based on rooms, modules, and outlets. Hardware (POS terminals, printers, key card encoders) is billed separately at cost. There are no per-booking commissions and no setup hidden fees. See the pricing page for current tiers.
Does CloudReef charge commission on bookings?
No. CloudReef does not charge any commission on direct bookings made through the website or booking engine. OTA commissions (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia) are paid directly to the OTA by the property, not to CloudReef.
How does CloudReef compare to Cloudbeds or eZee?
Cloudbeds and eZee are generic global SaaS PMS products. CloudReef is bespoke and Philippine-first: BIR compliance, GCash and Maya integration, on-site deployment, local-hour support, and tailored configuration per property. CloudReef integrates with channel managers rather than competing with them, so properties can switch PMS without disrupting their OTA distribution.
AI features
How does the CloudReef AI Chatbot work?
The CloudReef AI Chatbot is multilingual and connects to WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, the property website, and the in-room QR codes. It answers guest questions, handles booking inquiries, processes service requests, and escalates to staff when needed. Languages supported include English, Tagalog, Mandarin, German, Russian, and Korean.
What is the CloudReef AI Butler?
The AI Butler is a private AI concierge assigned to each guest during their stay. It is proactive (suggests activities, anticipates needs), multilingual, and always on. The Butler reads the guest profile, current weather, and on-property availability to make relevant recommendations. It is a separate module from the public-facing AI Chatbot.

Is CloudReef cloud-based or on-premise?

Where is my data stored?
Guest and operational data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with daily encrypted backups. CloudReef complies with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and applicable GDPR principles for international guests. Data ownership remains with the property at all times.
What happens if CloudReef goes down?
The POS and PMS run in offline mode automatically if the internet drops or the cloud is unreachable. Transactions queue locally and sync when connectivity returns. Uptime is monitored continuously with an internal SLA of 99.9% for the cloud platform.
Who is behind CloudReef?
CloudReef was founded by an engineering team with prior experience at Lufthansa (enterprise systems) and ByteDance (consumer-scale platforms). The team combines aviation-grade reliability standards with consumer product polish, applied to hospitality technology for the Philippine market.
